Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED 30 JUNE 2026
The Lone Drone collects no data. The app has no servers, no accounts, and makes no network requests of its own. Nothing you do in the app is recorded, stored off your device, or transmitted to us or to any third party. We never see anything.
The senses the game uses
The game is played through your device's sensors. Each is read only in the moment, locally, to drive the puzzle in front of you, and is never recorded or saved:
- Motion and fitness (motion, orientation, steps, altitude changes): used to feel how you hold and move the device.
- Microphone: used only to measure how loud the room is, moment to moment. No audio is ever recorded or stored.
- Location: used only for compass heading (which way you are facing). Your position is never read, saved, or transmitted.
- Camera: used only to sense how much light reaches the lens. No photo or video is ever captured.
You are asked to allow these on first launch. You can change any of them at any time in the iOS Settings app. Denying a permission only affects the puzzles that rely on that sense.
What is saved
Your progress, settings, and best scores are saved only on your device (in the app's local storage). Deleting the app removes them. This information never leaves your device.
Game Center
If you choose to use Game Center, achievements and leaderboard scores are handled by Apple's Game Center. This is optional and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The app sends only the achievement and score values needed for that feature, and no personal information.
Children
The Lone Drone is suitable for general audiences and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
